Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater five-star running back and Texas commit Cedric Baxter Jr. is a touchdown machine.

He found the end zone early Thursday for Orlando Edgewater in its game against Orlando (Fla.) Timber Creek, taking a handoff out of a shotgun formation about 34 yards to the house.

Baxter is ranked as the No. 39 overall recruit and No. 4 running back in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3 has him as the nation’s No. 1 running back, slotting him in at No. 28 overall in the 2023 On300 ranking.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $21k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
