Draper (Utah) Corner Canyon four-star quarterback Devin Brown had a senior year to remember.

He completed 254 of his 372 passes for a single-season state record of 4,881 yards. He also threw for 57 touchdowns, rushed for 430 yards and eight scores.

His season ended in the state championship, where despite scoring five total touchdowns, Brown and Draper Corner Canyon lost to Highland (Utah) Lone Peak.

Brown posted his end-of-season highlight tape Tuesday, and it is 10 full minutes of standout quarterback play.

Brown was already a top recruit before the 2021 season but he entered another pantheon of quarterback recruits with his play this fall.

He is the No. 47 overall player sixth-best quarterback in the country, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3 grades him even higher. He was listed among the biggest risers in the latest On300 rankings released about a week ago. He is the No. 27 player in the rankings and the second-best quarterback behind Medina’s (Ohio) Drew Allar.

Brown decommitted last week from USC and has been heavily recruited by Ole MissTexas and Ohio State over the last few weeks.

On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power wrote about Brown’s rise to become the most sought-after quarterback prospect in the cycle.

“There’s no question that Devin Brown has one of the more interesting statistical profiles I’ve seen from a top quarterback prospect,” Power said. The raw passing stats are gaudy. He averaged nearly 350 yards and four touchdowns per game. The 13.1 yards per attempt is among the highest I’ve seen from a top quarterback prospect over the last few cycles. This is in part due to Corner Canyon’s offensive approach – Jaxson Dart averaged 13.6 yards per attempt in 2020.”
