College football’s early signing period is less than three months away, but plenty of talented players are still on the board, six uncommitted offensive tackles in the 2022 On300 rankings.

In total, 73 of the top 300 players in the country—just under 25 percent—have yet to announce their college commitments, but most of those will do so between now and December 15, when the first signing period officially opens. Skipping the spring semester of high school and enrolling early has become the norm in college football in recent years, with programs like Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Oklahoma and others typically bringing in more than a dozen players after the semester break.

Four of the top five players in the 2022 class have yet to commit, including No. 1 overall player Marvin Jones Jr. On3 compiled notes and intel on all 73 uncommitted On300 prospects to keep you informed about where each player stands in their recruiting process.

Zach Rice

Background: Lynchburg (Va.) Liberty Christian Academy
Ranking: On300 No. 38
Schools considering: Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Virginia, North Carolina

Latest intel: Rice has been at the top of North Carolina’s board for a long time now. And the Tar Heels had a chance to host him on an unofficial visit last weekend when they hosted Virginia. He visited each of his top five schools in June, but he did North Carolina twice in the month, in addition to his visit last weekend. The Tar Heels have stiff competition, but they’re in good shape.

Josh Conerly

Background: Seattle Rainier Beach
Ranking: On300 No. 50
Schools considering: Michigan, USC, Washington, Oregon, Oklahoma, Alabama

Latest intel: Conerly is a massive in-state target for the Huskies, especially considering they are likely to miss out on consensus four-star tackle Malik Agbo. Things have been trending toward Michigan of late, though, especially with the Wolverines off to a hot start and Jim Harbaugh’s seat cooling down a bit.

Kam Dewberry

Background: Humble (Texas) Atascocita
Ranking: On300 No. 68
Schools considering: LSU, Alabama, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Texas

Latest intel: Earlier this summer, Ohio State looked like the clear leader for Dewberry, but after a visit last weekend to Oklahoma, it’s hard not to see the Sooners having a great shot. He said the visit was a “10/10.”

Aamil Wagner

Background: Dayton (Ohio) Wayne
Ranking: On300 No. 110
Schools considering: Penn State, Kentucky, Notre Dame, Maryland, Ohio State

Latest intel: Wagner is another prospect who took a bunch of visits this summer, hitting Penn State, Kentucky, Notre Dame, Maryland, Ohio State all in the month of June. He returned to Penn State last weekend and still has plans to see Notre Dame and Kentucky, where his brother played and is now a graduate assistant. Based on the family ties, it’s hard to see him anywhere but Lexington.

Elijah Pritchett

Background: Columbus (Ga.) Carver
Ranking: On300 No. 127
Schools considering: Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, USC

Latest intel: Of the six uncommitted offensive tackles, Pritchett is the closest to a decision. He plans to announce on CBS Sports HQ next Tuesday, and it looks to be a three-team race between Alabama, Georgia and Florida State. With the Seminoles’ early-season struggles and chatter about Mike Norvell’s future hitting a fever pitch, Pritchett just might be SEC-bound.

Julian Armella

Background: Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas
Ranking: On300 No. 287
Schools considering: LSU, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Alabama

Latest intel: Armella has taken a step back in his recruiting process during the high school season, so there’s not likely any news coming down the pike. He visited LSU this summer and tripped to Florida State for their season opener. Alabama and Florida will likely get his other visits, and then we could expect to see him cut down his list or commit.
