Bayou Traditions - LSU Tigers Collective
LSU was slow to embrace the new world of NIL collectives. For the first 18 months of college athletics’ new era, a small group of donors banded together to get by with Geaux Enterprises. That same group is the core of Bayou Traditions, which launched in late January 2023, the same week as National Signing Day. Announced with a video from LSU athletic director Scott Woodward endorsing Bayou Traditions, the collective features a monthly membership with six tiers ranging from $100 to $50,000 annually. Brent Cunningham, who previously served as the president of operations at TCU’s Think NIL collective, will serve as president. He is an LSU graduate. “Just as Tiger fans’ philanthropic support of TAF continues to provide student-athletes with a world class experience, their additional support of Bayou Traditions will help us empower our student-athletes to build their brands, support their families, and give back to their communities,” Woodward said in a statement. The collective has also partnered with LSU Athletics, serving as the title sponsor of LSU GOLD, the department’s in-depth digital content platform.
