Canes Society - Miami Hurricanes Collective

Originally launched in July 2022 as CanesDAO, Canes Society says it’s an NIL collective and Miami athletics community built by Hurricanes fans for Hurricanes fans. “The Canes Society is a Miami NIL collective and Canes community that unites boosters, fans, alumni, and athletes in a way never seen before,” the collective’s website says. “Our team will provide Canes fans and business partners with a safe, legal and transparent platform to directly support the athletes they cheer on yearly.” The Cane Society says it will support Miami Hurricanes student-athletes in several ways. “We will enter into NIL agreements with Miami student-athletes and utilize those publicity rights by promoting the student-athlete on our website, social media, at Cane Society events, and in other ways,” the collective’s website says. “We will build the Canes Society through our Canes Society Community Season Pass. This pass will provide access to the country's most engaged Canes fan community, complete with unique content, the ability to connect with Canes across the country, submit and vote on proposals and much more.” In addition, the collective says its community will partner with national and local Miami businesses and assist in partnering Miami Hurricanes student-athletes with those organizations that best fit their goals as a Hurricane.
