As we’ve already seen this college football season, success on the field can quickly lead to success in NIL. For example, Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson parlayed his Week 1 success into a new “long-form agreement.” But Richardson isn’t the only example. There are players all over the country that are seeing their On3 NIL Valuations soar after strong starts to the season.

Here’s a look at five players that shot up the charts in the On3 NIL 100. The On3 NIL 100 is the first of its kind and the defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by market valuation.

Top 10 college football On3 NIL Valuations entering Week 3

Bryan Bresee

Position: Defensive line
On3 NIL Valuation: $810,000
Increase over last week: $578,000
On3 NIL 100 ranking: 35
Per Post Value: $2,700

Clemson defensive lineman Bryan Bresee generates headlines on the field for his play. He’s considered a sure-fire first-round NFL draft pick. Yet, Bresee also has garnered attention off the field for bringing awareness to the fight against cancer. He spearheaded the “Ella Strong” fundraising campaign last week in the game against Furman, dedicated to his younger sister Ella, who is in the midst of her battle with brain cancer. Because of the push to help with his sister’s fight against cancer, the former Five-Star Plus+ recruit has seen a massive spike in his social media presence in recent weeks. He now has more than 163,000 followers. Plus, he has an On3 NIL Valuation of $810,000.

Jacoby Windmon

Position: EDGE
On3 NIL Valuation: $1,100,000
Increase over last week: $512,000
On3 NIL 100 ranking: 35
Per Post Value: $471

Last week, Michigan State defender Jacoby Windmon saw his On3 NIL Valuation jump to $583,000. And that value continued to soar to $1.1 million this week. The decision by Spartan coach Mel Tucker to move Windmon from linebacker to EDGE has paid off big time. Against Western Michigan, he had seven tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble. He then had another 1.5 sacks and three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery against Akron. Few defensive players have been as impactful as Windmon. It makes for the perfect combination when you factor in that he’s got more than 15,000 social media followers, including more than 10,500 on Twitter.

Bryce Ford-Wheaton

Position: WR
On3 NIL Valuation: $819,000
Increase over last week: $510,000
On3 NIL 100 ranking: 32
Per Post Value: $509

West Virginia receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton has already been a NIL star with deals facilitated by the Mountaineer-focused Country Roads Trust collective. His On3 NIL Valuation is $819K. But now that he’s personally off to a great start on the season, he should be able to make an even bigger impact on the market. Yes, the Mountaineers are 0-2 after a loss to Kansas. But Ford-Wheaton has been a gamebreaker with 249 yards receiving and four touchdowns in the losses against Pitt and KU. Against the Jayhawks, he had 11 receptions for 152 yards and two scores.

Marvin Harrison Jr.

Position: Receiver
On3 NIL Valuation: $616,000
Increase over last week: $446,000
On3 NIL 100 ranking: 56
Per Post Value: $1,400

Ohio State receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. already had the ingredients to be a success on the NIL front. He’s the son of NFL legend Marvin Harrison. He has more than 77,000 followers on social media and climbing On3 NIL Valuation. Plus, he plays for one of the best college football programs in the country. He just needed his chance to continue his breakout performance that we saw in last season’s Rose Bowl. We got it against Arkansas State, when Harrison went off with 184 yards receiving, three touchdown grabs and an average of 26.3 yards a catch. The sky’s the limit for Harrison when it comes to NIL potential.

Jack Nelson

Position: Offensive line
On3 NIL Valuation: $538,000
Increase over last week: $351,000
On3 NIL 100 ranking: 77
Per Post Value: $256

At Wisconsin, offensive linemen are rock stars. And Jack Nelson has all the makings to be the Badgers next All-American. The redshirt sophomore earned honorable mention all-league honors last season. And now that he’s anchored the left tackle spot for the Badgers he has a chance to make bank from a NIL standpoint. Heck, he’s already making money moves, which we saw with the executed deal with Sprecher Brewery. It also doesn’t hurt that Wisconsin boosters have relaunched the Varsity Collective with major alumni backing. With a good social media following and an On3 NIL Valuation of $538,000, Nelson could be in for much bigger things sooner than later.
