Friends of Wilbur & Wilma is making sure to deliver NIL deals to Arizona athletes.

The Wildcat-focused NIL collective announced Tuesday afternoon quarterback Jayden de Laura and wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan have each landed a new Dodge as part of a deal with Tucson’s Jim Click Auto.

As part of the agreement, the two athletes will be volunteering at the local Boys & Girls Club. Friends of Wilbur & Wilma was founded back in February and is powered by Blueprint Sports. The collective also has the support of the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education.

The collective has continued to grow its presence on in Tuscon, supporting the Wildcat women’s basketball, softball and baseball programs. It’s also been active facilitating deals, recently setting up tight end Keyan Burnett with a partnership with resource center “More than a Bed.”

Arizona finished the regular season 5-7, picking up wins over UCLA and Arizona State in the three final weeks of the season. The former Washington State quarterback, de Laura threw for 3,685 yards with a 62.5 percent completion percentage. He also tallied 25 interceptions and 13 interceptions, while adding another four scores on the ground.

The 2021 Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year has yet to announce his future plans. With three years of college, he is eligible to announce for this spring’s NFL Draft.

Just a freshman, McMillan was Arizona’s highest-rated commit in the rankings era. He lived up to those expectations this season, pulling down 39 catches for 702 yards and eight touchdowns. The 6-foot-5, 205-pounder thrived in Jedd Fisch’s offense, showing his impressive ball skills.

Jayden de Laura, Tetairoa McMillan On3 NIL valuation

The Arizona quarterback currently holds an On3 NIL Valuation of $178,000, which ranks in the top 275 of college football NIL evaluations. With roughly 13,900 social media followers, he as a $376 per-post projection.

Tetairoa McMillan’s evaluations has a $51,000 On3 NIL Valuation. The freshman has 24,000 social media followers and a per-post projection of $457.

The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure.

While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career.

The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future.
