“Extremely excited,” Beal in said a quote tweet on Friday.

A Rock Island, Illinois, native, Beal is going into her junior year at South Carolina. A two-time SEC Academic-Honor roll member, she was also a key piece of the Gamecocks’ 2021-22 national championship winning team. Brea Beal is in a good position to receive new NIL deals. The South Carolina women’s team is one of the most recognizable in the sport. They’re successful and expected to continue to be successful. Beal is a key part of that, and it will lead to more attention from brands.

Klutch Sports Group is a sports agency founded in 2012 by agent Rich Paul and NBA superstar LeBron James. Before becoming an agent, Paul was close with James and had experience at Creative Artists Agency. Brea Beal joins Ayanna Patterson, who also recently signed on with Klutch Sports Group.

South Carolina women’s basketball and NIL

The South Carolina women’s team has had success in the NIL, as one of the top teams in women’s college basketball. This means that there have already been numerous deals made by student-athletes on the team.

Most NIL opportunities at South Carolina have gone to Aliyah Boston. She is the team’s best player and is far and away the best-known player nationally. Boston has deals with Under Armour, Bojangles, and Crocs. She, in partnership with Under Armour, even hosted a youth basketball camp in the Virgin Islands.

What’s next for Brea Beal and NIL waits to be seen.
