Haley and Hanna Cavinder transferred from Fresno State to Miami this past offseason. The move has only elevated their brand on and off the floor.

The Hurricanes are on track to make the NCAA Tournament, one of the driving forces behind the twins’ decision to move to Coral Gables. And they have not struggled finding NIL deals as of late, signing notable partnerships with Intuit TurboTax and Under Armour.

They have now added Raising Cane’s to their stocked portfolios. With the opening of a new location of the fast-food chain in Miami Beach, the twins stopped by to grab some food and a swag bag. They filmed the experience for their shared TikTok account that has 4.1 million followers.

Since the video dropped on Friday, the post has been watched more than 125,000 times. The endorsement deal with the chicken finger shop was facilitated by Everett Sports Management, which represents the Cavinders in NIL. Darren Heitner also assisted on the legal side.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

“It comes down to leveraging a domestic influence with a national brand via a hyper local event,” the Cavinders’ agent, Jeff Hoffman, told On3. “The twins provide a varied audience with a triad of influence in sport, fashion and health and wellness. This audience is seeking new places to eat, play and be well. The partnership allows Cane’s to lean into that audience in an authentic slice of life content where we get to see the new Raising Cane’s in the Hurricanes and twins’ backyard.”

The duo recently launched the podcast “Twin Talk” across all streaming platforms. Part of the iHeart Radio podcast network, they’ll have a rotation of college athletes on their show as guests. Champs Sports will be an episodic sponsor from time to time.

They’re also finding success playing in the ACC. Haley has started all 21 games for the Hurricanes. She’s currently averaging 12.8 points and 4.4 points per game. Hanna has come off the bench in each game this season for Miami, averaging four points.

Cavinder Twins’ massive On3 NIL Valuation

Hanna currently holds a $833,000 On3 NIL Valuation, while Haley’s On3 NIL Valuation sits at $830,000. The twins sit at No. 24 and No. 25, respectively, in the On3 NIL 100. The rankings are the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation.

Across Instagram, Twitter and TikTok, the twins have amassed more than 4.6 million social media followers. That number does not include their YouTube channel with more than 82,000 subscribers where they drop weekly vlogs.

The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure.

About On3 NIL Valuation, Brand Value, Roster Value

While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career.

The On3 NIL Valuation accounts for an athlete’s roster value and brand value. Roster value is the value an athlete has by being a member of his or her team at his or her school, which factors into the role of NIL collectives. Brand value factors in an athlete’s personal brand and the value it could bring to regional and national brands outside of the scope of NIL collectives.

The On3 NIL Valuation is publicly available. Performance, Influence, and Exposure ratings along with the athlete’s personal Brand Value Index and Roster Value Index are available only to the athlete in the “Athlete Verified” private dashboard on the On3 Athlete Network.
