Leah Clapper is redefining what it means to put together a beam routine.

The Florida all-around gymnast announced Wednesday she has signed with CAMPUS, a blockchain platform focused on college sports and co-founded by former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow. As part of her agreement, fans will have the opportunity to submit videos of their “best dance move” on TikTok and Instagram.

Clapper will choose her favorite submissions for an upcoming vote. The graduate student will then select a dance move to include in the choreography of her competitive beam routine this season. Submissions should tag Clapper on social media or be sent directly to her direct messages.

“I’m so excited to join CAMPUS,” Clapper said in a statement. “I truly believe that together we’re setting a new standard for fan engagement in college sports. Kicking off my Club, I wanted to do something truly unique. I’m giving my fans the chance to put their ‘stamp’ on my beam routine — something I would have loved to do growing up watching my favorite athletes.”

The move to join CAMPUS comes after she was named the NIL Summit Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award this summer. Clapper also earned All-SEC honors. She’s emerged as a real player in the NIL space, signing with ZipRecruiter and Just Salad.

As part of the CAMPUS program, fans are able to purchase a Leah Clapper club membership.

The $99 annual membership will allow access to a ticketed meet and greet in Gainesville. Fans will also received a limited edition poster and membership-only content from Clapper.

And for the fans who register before Oct. 23, they will be allowed to vote on the choreography submitted for Clapper to perform in a competitive balance beam routine. Voting will take place from Oct. 24 to Oct. 30.

What is Campus?

Campus was founded by Tebow, along with Christine Menedis and Ricky Caplin. The trio set off with the goal of using the latest tech to elevate the connection between fans and athletes. And with the new NIL Era, athletes can turn a profit.

Since it re-launched in the last month, it has announced chapters in the Big Ten, SEC, Pac-12 along with The American, C-USA. Athletes such as Florida State‘s Jordan Travis have also signed on.

“Leah is pioneering how athletes can engage with their fans in this new digital age,” Tebow said in a release. “We’re thrilled to help make this happen for her and all the athletes like her who want to provide true value in the NIL market.”
