Michigan State signee Jaxon Kohler signs with marketing agency

Jaxon Kohler, an incoming freshman to the Michigan State basketball team, has signed with Detroit-based marketing agency Helium Sports & Entertainment Marketing Inc.

A four-star recruit and top-50 player in the 2022 recruiting class according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average, Kohler has the potential to be an incredibly marketable player in the future.

“Jaxon Kohler represents a shift in the way the frontcourt position is played, and Helium SEM represents a shift in the way Student-Athletes are represented,” president and founder of Helium Sports & Entertainment Justin Brantley told Forbes.

“We are excited to be the trusted partner to assist Jaxon in not only identifying NIL opportunities but also with growing his brand beyond the 94 feet of competition.“

Brantley is already in discussions with businesses about Kohler. He believes that he could be making six figures in deals soon. On3’s NIL Valuation gives Kohler a $21,000 valuation. He does not rank in On3’s high school NIL basketball rankings, but he does have a combined 19,900 social media followers.

The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

The On3 NIL 100 is the first of its kind and the defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by market valuation.
