After he went viral for running an absurd 10.32-second 100-meter dash time, Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll five-star EDGE Nyckoles Harbor now has one of the highest On3 NIL Valuations in the country.

Harbor – who is 6-foot-5 and 235 pounds – cemented his stock as one of the nation’s top football players and sprinters with the eyepopping time at the Beach Run Invitational. The video of him towering over and blowing past other runners has been viewed 2.4 million times.

The viral moment is the key reason why Harbor’s On3 NIL Valuation is at $317,000. Furthermore, Nyckoles Harbor is also at the No. 10 spot in the On3 High School Football NIL Rank and is at No. 73 in the On3 NIL 100.

NIL boosts happen after viral moments

The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The On3 NIL Valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Nyckoles Harbor isn’t the only student-athlete that has seen a recent big boost in NIL thanks to a viral moment.

For example, Indiana cheerleader Cassidy Cerny made hay after going viral in the NCAA Tournament. She rescued a basketball that was stuck above the backboard. Doug Edert also saw a massive On3 NIL Valuation boost after he ripped the hearts out of Big Blue Nation with 20 points in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Nyckoles Harbor is a two-sport star

Nyckoles Harbor ranks as the nation’s No. 11 overall football prospect, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also checks in as the country’s No. 2 EDGE and the No. 1 player in the District of Columbia.

His combination of size and speed make him one of the most coveted football prospects in the country. Alabama, LSU, USC, Oregon, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan and Penn State are among a number of programs that have offered and are in heavy pursuit. He told On3’s The Wolverine that Maryland and Michigan will for sure receive official visits.

“I’m balancing everything really well,” Harbor said. “I try not to get too caught up in it. With track going on, it’s numbed it down. With my track schedule being all over the place, I don’t get to make a lot of recruiting visits. I am just happy to be in the position that I am.”
