Cedric Tillman has added another NIL deal to his growing slate of partnerships.

The Tennessee wide receiver has inked an agreement with Bojangles, promoting the regional fast-food chain’s Tennessee-themed Big Bo Box. The boxes can be filled with eight, 12 or 20-piece chicken and served with biscuits, sides and iced tea. The Vols are coming off their biggest win in recent memory, snapping a 15-game losing streak to Alabama.

Bojangles has been agressive in the NIL space. The restaurant signed Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei and North Carolina quarterback Sam Howell to partnerships last season.

The one-off deal was brokered by Tillman’s NIL representation, VaynerSports. This is not the first taste of NIL success he’s had. He has a partnership in place with Spyre Sports Group, which includes a cash component. It also included a trip to New York City this summer with quarterback Hendon Hooker for meetings with brands, future partners and stock market executives.

And then there’s a deal with the Moonshine Mountain Cookie Company. If he catches two touchdown passes in any game this year, the cookie company will give away two free cookies.

A redshirt senior, he emerged as one of the top weapons in Tennessee’s offense last year and was the top statistical receiver in the SEC returning this year. Tillman’s fall has not been easy, though. He exited Tennessee’s Week 3 game against Akron with an ankle injury. Vols head coach Josh Heupel said the receiver will be a game-time decision this weekend, with consideration factored into his long-term future.

“Looks good out there,” Heupel said Wednesday. “Just his ability to function at 100% and feeling comfortable.”

Cedric Tillman’s major On3 NIL Valuation

The former three-star recruits holds an On3 NIL Valuation of $250,000. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure.

While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career. The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future.

Cedric Tillman’s evaluation ranks No. 166 among college football players. He has more than 31,000 social media followers, with a per post value of $463.
