2025 NASCAR Cup Series Championship odds: Betting lines updated after Darlington

The odds for who will stand above the field as the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series champion have been updated. Denny Hamlin has back-to-back wins after Martinsville and Darlington, and that’s had a major effect on the betting lines.

While the veteran dominated at Martinsville, that wasn’t the case at Darlington. He owes this one to his pit crew, who got him out front on the final stop of the afternoon for the last restart. Hamlin did the rest from there, notching win No. 56 of his career. Perhaps he can make it three in a row in Tennessee this coming weekend.

After all the action, FanDuel Sportsbook has released their updated betting lines for which driver will stand above all at the end of the year as champion. Here’s where each wheelman stands following the Goodyear 400, with a trip to Bristol Motor Speedway on the docket for next weekend.

Christopher Bell (+460)

Christopher Bell has three wins on the season already, and he’s been consistent as anyone over the past few weeks, even if he hasn’t been back to Victory Lane. He notched another podium finish at Darlington, finishing third in South Carolina.

As the Cup Series moves to Bristol this weekend, Bell has never won at The Last Great Coliseum. However, he’s done well over his past couple of trips to Tennessee, notching four top ten finishes in a row over the past two seasons.

Kyle Larson (+460)

Kyle Larson is one of, if not the best driver in the world. That wasn’t the case at Darlington over the weekend though. He had a rough afternoon, and ended up finishing P37 after a late spin that threw a wrench into the race.

Over the course of his NASCAR Cup Series tenure, Larson has won twice at Bristol. He got to Victory Lane during the last time he raced at the short-track, so perhaps the Hendrick Motorsports star can make it back-to-back at The Last Great Coliseum.

Denny Hamlin (+600)

Denny Hamlin was in a bit of a funk, going months without a win before getting to Victory Lane at Martinsville. Now, he’s on top of the NASCAR world, winning back-to-back races after he was victorious at Darlington this past weekend.

Luckily for Hamlin, another tremendous track for the No. 11 team is on the docket. The veteran wheelman has won at Bristol four times, and twice in his last three trips to The Last Great Coliseum. We’ll see if he can get it done again in 2025.

William Byron (+650)

William Byron was in the midst of one of the more dominating performances in NASCAR Cup Series history. He led every lap through two-thirds of the race, but once he got back in traffic, he couldn’t get back to the lead. Byron had to settle for being the runner-up in South Carolina.

While Byron has become an awesome short-track racer, Bristol isn’t always his strong suit. He does have two podium finishes in 13 attempts, but the Hendrick wheelman had some tough luck at the track in 2024. Perhaps 2025 will be more fruitful for him.

Ryan Blaney (+700)

Nobody was more sour than Ryan Blaney after Darlington. He had victory in his grasp, but Kyle Larson’s spin brought out a late caution and Denny Hamlin’s pit crew helped him steal the checkered flag. At least Blaney was able to notch a top five, finishing fifth.

The hits keep coming for Blaney, and Bristol hasn’t been kind to him over the course of his career. There’s always time for that to change, and maybe it will this time around. Expect the unexpected with Blaney.

Chase Elliott (+1000)

Chase Elliott was outspoken about the future of throwback weekend at Darlington throughout the past couple of days, but he performed well at the track when it came time to race. The Hendrick Motorsports star finished the race in P8, getting a much needed top ten finish.

As Elliott looks for his first win of the season, Bristol is one of his better tracks. He won at The Last Great Coliseum in July of 2020. We’ll see if he can get it done with a full group of fans in the stands this time around.

Tyler Reddick (+1000)

Tyler Reddick was fighting for the win before the final caution came out at Darlington. His pit crew couldn’t get him the lead like Denny Hamlin’s did, but the 23XI Racing wheelman still came home with a top five, finishing fourth when it was all said and done.

To say Bristol is one of Reddick’s less-than-stellar tracks would be a little too nice. He only has two top ten finishes in eight tries. Last season, the 23XI Racing wheelman didn’t finish above P20 at the Tennessee short-track, so he’ll be looking for a much better result this time around.

Joey Logano (+1200)

Joey Logano was hoping to get his first win since winning his third Cup Series championship last November. Darlington wasn’t in the cards, the Team Penske wheelman ended up finishing P13 on the afternoon.

While Logano had some success at Bristol in the past, the last couple of trips to the track have been rough for the reigning champion. He hasn’t won in a couple months shy of a decade at the short-track, and he doesn’t have a top ten in his last six tries. The odds aren’t in his favor at the moment.
