2025 NASCAR Cup Series Championship odds: Betting lines updated after Indianapolis
The odds for who will stand above the field as the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series champion have been updated following this past weekend’s race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Bubba Wallace kissed the bricks, and locked himself into the playoffs in the process.
It was a landmark moment for Wallace and 23XI Racing. The No. 23 Toyota wheelman held off Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin in the process, and now he’ll have a shot to race for the championship in a little bit over a month, when the Round of 16 begins.
With that in mind, BetMGM Sportsbook has released its updated betting lines for which driver will stand above all at the end of the year as champion after all of the action in Indiana. Here’s where each wheelman stands entering the Iowa Speedway this coming weekend.
Kyle Larson (+350)
Kyle Larson had a chance to win another Brickyard 400, and defend his crown. However, he couldn’t get by Bubba Wallace on the final two restarts of the race, and the Hendrick Motorsports star had to settle for being the runner-up in Indiana.
In 2024, Larson started on the pole at Iowa, but he ran into some issues during the race. That meant a P34 finish, even though he had all that speed in his No. 5 Chevrolet. We’ll see if he can bounce back this time around.
Denny Hamlin (+400)
Denny Hamlin still doesn’t have a Brickyard 400 win to his name. He did his best to get one though, finishing third and running the fastest lap of the race, but it wasn’t satisfactory. At least his 23XI Racing driver in Bubba Wallace won though.
Iowa was a mixed bag for Hamlin in 2024. While he started P12, he finished P24. Perhaps the veteran wheelman can continue his hot streak this weekend with a bounce back performance.
Christopher Bell (+550)

Christopher Bell was able to secure a top ten in the Brickyard 400, finishing P8. A solid run for the Joe Gibbs Racing wheelman, although he’d rather end up in Victory Lane.
Iowa was a solid showing for Bell in 2024. He started tenth, but he drove his way up to P4 as the checkered flag waved. We’ll see if he can get his fourth win of the season this weekend.
Ryan Blaney (+550)
Ryan Blaney was racing near the front all afternoon, but he couldn’t battle for the win in the final laps of the Brickyard 400. The Team Penske wheelman still notched a solid P7 finish though.
Last season, Blaney won the inaugural Cup Series race at Iowa. Can he do it again? A victory would be his second in 2025.

William Byron (+700)
William Byron gave himself a shot at the win over the weekend, but his fuel tank had other ideas. The No. 24 didn’t have enough gas for two overtimes, and that took him from a podium finish to P16 in Indiana.
As Byron searches for his first win since the Daytona 500, Iowa is a solid option for him. He finished second at this track in 2024.
Chase Elliott (+900)

Chase Elliott didn’t have a great weekend in the Brickyard 400. The sport’s most popular driver qualified P30, but he salvaged an alright finish out of the afternoon, coming home P13.
Could Elliott’s second win of the season be on the horizon as the Cup Series heads to Iowa? He finished third here in 2024, so there’s a precedent for him to have a solid showing.
Tyler Reddick (+1200)
Tyler Reddick’s teammate got the win last weekend, but he had some speed, as well. The 23XI Racing wheelman qualified fourth, but a late wreck ruined any chance of a solid finish. Reddick came home P29.
As he still searches for win No. 1 in 2025, Iowa might not be Reddick’s top option. He started P8 but finished P22 in 2024. He’ll have to be better this time around.
Joey Logano (+1400)
Joey Logano seemed on his way towards winning the Brickyard 400. A cut tire changed everything late in the race, and the reigning Cup Series champion finished P32 in Indiana.
In the Cup Series’ first race at Iowa, Logano had a solid showing last season. He started P11 and finished sixth. We’ll see if the three-time champ can add another unique trophy to his collection.
