A’ja Wilson had everyone’s attention when she debuted her pink hairstyle at the Las Vegas Aces media day. The team’s official X/Twitter account shared two photos of the WNBA superstar with pink hair, and the fans loved it.

The new hairstyle comes shortly after A’ja Wilson debuted her new A’One Nike shoes, which are also pink. The A’Ones were released on Tuesday and sold out in less than five minutes, per USA Today.

“This morning was wild,” she wrote on Instagram. “If you missed the A’One, don’t worry. We’re dropping again Thursday at Nike stores and other spots everywhere. I do this for the real ones, always.”

In an interview with For The Win, Wilson was asked about the Texas Longhorns women’s basketball team wearing her Nike signature shoes during its Final Four run. “Insane. Like, pinch me moment,” she said. “I couldn’t believe it. Even seeing them when I was surprising them, some of them already had the shoes on, and I’m like, “All right, well, the cat’s out the bag.” It’s extremely just joyful for me to share this experience. To see young girls, to see teams, to see boys ― everybody in between ― wearing my shoe, particularly on a big stage like the Final Four when they didn’t have to.

“They chose to wear those shoes, and that just makes my heart smile, because me and my team at Nike and everyone around me worked so hard to, one, keep that shoe under wraps, but two, make sure that we get the vision across. And we executed it. So to see people love it as much as I love it, it’s a beautiful thing to see.”

Wilson is arguably the best player in the WNBA. The former South Carolina star was been with the Aces since entering the league in 2018 and has been named an All-Star six times, won the MVP award three times, was named Defensive Player of the Year twice and led the Aces to the two league titles.

Wilson was also a standout player at South Carolina. In her four seasons with the Gamecocks, Wilson was named SEC Player of the Year three times, was selected to the All-America First Team three times and led the team to a national title in 2017.
