Mid-June brings the entire college baseball world to Omaha to close the book on the 2024-2025 athletic calendar. Eight teams have made their way to the College World Series with the hopes of winning a national championship after hard-fought regionals and Super Regionals.

FanDuel has released odds for the upcoming CWS, ranking the eight-team field. With the SEC having a pair of teams still alive, those two find themselves at the top. While one of the two non-power conference teams is at the bottom.

An entertaining tournament is set to take place in the coming days, with Game 1 and Game 2 unfolding on Friday. Before then, you can check out who the oddsmakers like to dogpile when everything is said and done.

Arkansas Razorbacks (+195)

Arkansas has been one of the best teams in college baseball all season. Having a case for the No. 1 overall seed when the bracket was released, Arkansas saw its logo flash on the screen third.

The path has been smooth sailing thus far, not yet losing a game. Now, the Razorbacks are just five wins away from a national championship the program has been waiting for for a long time.

LSU Tigers (+240)

Jay Johnson has been in this position before with his team. LSU not only expects to get to Omaha but also to be one of the favorites to win the national championship. The Tigers did so just a couple of years ago, dogpiling in 2023.

Adding another title would be special for Johnson, making it the second of his career. Potentially a tough draw with the lone other SEC foe in the bracket, pushing LSU’s odds down a bit.

Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (+600)

Of the teams in Bracket 1, Coastal Carolina is given the best odds to be alive at the very end. This would also assume FanDuel favors them to appear in the College World Series championship series.

Coastal Carolina was last here in 2016, eventually winning the national championship. Going two for two in Omaha would be the dream, and the Chaticleers are high up in the order to get the job done.

Oregon State Beavers (+650)

A team with no conference, Oregon State is just one of four national seeds to still be alive. This will be the first time they have left Corvallis since May 11 due to a run of home games to close out their year before hosting a regional and Super Regional.

If there is anywhere to go, nowhere is better than the College World Series. FanDuel gives the Beavers the fourth-best odds of the eight teams set to begin play.

UCLA Bruins (+850)

Another member of the former Pac-12, UCLA comes to Charles Schwab Field as a Big Ten representative. There is already comfort inside the stadium too, making it to the Big Ten Tournament title game just a few weeks ago.

UCLA broke a 12-year drought by getting back to the CWS and is looking to do a little more damage. If the Bruins were to win, they would be a first-time national champion.

Arizona Wildcats (+1400)

Arizona had to travel a long way for their Super Regional, flying all the way to Chapel Hill. That showed in Game 1, giving up 18 runs and losing by 16. But once settling in, two massive wins followed to punch their ticket.

The journey to Omaha will not be as long, heading to Omaha from Tucson. Arizona will need to be a little more prepared this go-round, playing in the first game on Friday afternoon.

Louisville Cardinals (+1600)

Not many would have guessed Louisville would still be alive. Given their regional draw — drawing Vanderbilt and playing in Nashville — the Commodores were the overwhelming favorite.

Facing a conference opponent like Miami, as they did in the Super Regional, is not easy either. Louisville has proved plenty of doubters wrong this entire journey and aims to do the same in Omaha.

Murray State Racers (+4000)

The Cinderella story of this year’s NCAA Tournament has been Murray State. Making it out of the Oxford Regional as the four-seed, the Racers shockingly went into Durham and took down Duke in the Super Regional.

Even so, FanDuel is not too high on Murray State’s chances of being the final team standing. They are well below the best of the field, coming in at +4000.
