May the panic of the Wednesday afternoon addition of Aaron Rodgers to the Green Bay Packers injury report as a non-participant in practice give way to the relief that the star quarterback practiced in full on Thursday. His listed injury on the report is his right thumb.

While Rodgers is on the mend, edge rusher Rashan Gary popped up on the report on Thursday after not being listed on Wednesday. He was a limited participant with a toe injury. Linebacker Tipa Galeai didn’t practice for the second-straight day with a hamstring injury.

Rookie defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt was limited again on Thursday with a quadricep injury.

On the offensive line, tackle David Bakhtiari remains limited in practice with a knee injury, as does guard/tackle Elgton Jenkins. Bakhtiari has been active and played for Green Bay’s last three games and Jenkins has been playing since Week 2 for the Packers after sitting out Week 1.

Rookie wideout Christian Watson didn’t practice again on Thursday as he rehabs a hamstring injury.

And veteran tight end Marcedes Lewis got a day of rest and did not practice on Thursday.

Rodgers injured throwing hand cropped up on Wednesday

The Green Bay Packers and New York Jets have released their respective Wednesday injury reports ahead of Sunday’s matchup. The biggest news of it: Rodgers did not practice on Wednesday while nursing his injured right thumb. But Packers fans shouldn’t worry.

“He’s not going to practice today,” Packers coach Matt LaFleur said before Wednesday’s practice. “But I don’t think we have much concern as far as game day.”
