Micah Parsons ripped Colin Cowherd after the Green Bay Packers lost to the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. On X/Twitter, Parsons sent a message to Cowherd, who criticized the Packers’ edge rusher for his lack of production.

“We just held Saquon Barkley to 60 rushing yards, and our only losses have been holding teams to 13 points,” Micah Parsons said. “Man, sometimes can y’all? Please stfu and enjoy great defense! Why do you think teams come into the games that were going to run the ball on 3rd and long? What effect do you think that is? Please stop giving people’s mics or listening to trash!”

Cowherd made the comments during his show on Tuesday afternoon. “Micah’s rep has always been: he is a splash player,” he said. A remarkable, athletic splash player. He’s not good against the run.”

Cowherd also praised the Cowboys’ trading Parsons to the Packers because they received two first-round picks and defensive lineman Kenny Clark. The FS1 personality also pointed out that the Packers have the same record as they did at this point of the season when they didn’t have Parsons on the roster (6-3 in 2024, and 5-3-1 in 2025).

Micah Parsons was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month in October

Parsons may not be known for his run defense, but the Packers have one of the best defenses in the NFL this year. Green Bay is ranked fifth in total defense (287.2 yards per game), 11th in passing defense (195.4), sixth in run defense (91.8), and seventh in scoring defense (19.6).

Through nine games this season, Parsons has recorded 14 quarterback hits and 6.5 sacks. He ranks first on the team in QB hits and second in sacks behind Rashan Gary, who has 7.5. Parsons is on track to finish the season with double-digit sacks for the fifth consecutive year.

At the end of October, Parsons was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month after posting nine tackles, six quarterback hits, and four sacks in three Packers wins. “He’s been outstanding,” Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said at the time. “All those guys are kind of feeding off one another. Certainly, he gets a lot of attention in regards to protections, and a lot of times, he’s defeating a chip. Then, they might even slide to him, which opens up opportunities for everybody else.”
