Aaron Rodgers has lots of favorite activities. He enjoys ayahuasca and other psychedelics. He loves to talk about UFOs and play golf. Of course, he’s also a Swiftie.

There is one thing we know. Aaron Rodgers probably is the most unpredictable quarterback, if not player, in the NFL. And in the same week that he talked plot twists on the Jersey Shore, he also revealed he’s a big fan of Taylor Swift.

Now, a good portion of the American female population are fans of Swift, the undisputed queen of pop music. Mothers, daughters, sisters and best friends are turning Swift concerts into a lifetime bucket list event. All her concerts are sold out. She’s performing three straight at MetLife this holiday weekend. And fans were paying $1,600 on the secondary resale market just to walk into the venue to hear her sing. It’s difficult to imagine Aaron Rodgers getting all dressed up for one of her concerts. Yet, there he was at MetLife Stadium, his new home venue, with thousands of others.

He went with his good friend, Miles Teller, the star of Top Gun: Maverick. An enterprising fan snapped a short video of the besties headed into MetLife. Rodgers and his then-fiance Shailene Woodley vacationed together with Teller and his wife in Hawaii two years ago. For Saturday night, it was Rodgers, Teller and Teller’s wife. They sat in a special VIP area at the stadium.

Aaron Rodgers says he has too many Taylor Swift fav songs

But as the New York Jets social media team pointed out, Aaron Rodgers is a real Taylor Swift fan. He quoted lyrics and gave song recommendations this week. So what are his favorite Swift tunes?

“Too many, too many to count,” Aaron Rodgers said. “Anything of Folklore, probably. ‘August,’ ‘The 1.’

He continued “Going way back, I would say ‘New Year’s…’ — was it ‘New Year’s Day’ or ‘New Year’s Eve?’ — ‘New Year’s Day.’ That’s a banger.”

Since the Packers traded Rodgers to the Jets last month, he’s come across as carefree, like he’s received an injection of happiness. Or maybe he mixed it with ayahuasca. In the past month, he’s gone out with his new teammates to cheer for the New York Knicks in the NBA playoffs. He also made an appearance at a New York Islanders playoff game. Rodgers said he also has plans to attend a Broadway show.

And, he’s endearing himself to all the residents of New York and New Jersey. Aaron Rodgers conceded that his musical tastes go way past Taylor Swift. He’s also a fan of Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi. So rock on.
