Tyrone Tracy injury update: Giants RB carted off after hit to the head
New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy was carted off the field in the fourth quarter of Monday’s Week 13 road contest against the New England Patriots. Tracy suffered a leg injury as he took a hit to the head from Patriots linebacker Anfernee Jennings.
Tracy could not put any weight on his left leg. He was helped to the sideline by members of the training staff. Tracy was later seen riding a cart back to the locker room.
Fellow running back Terrell Jennings exited the game in the first half with a concussion. New York will finish this one with Devin Singletary and Eric Gray as running back options.

Tracy, the second-year tailback out of Purdue, rushed for 36 yards on 10 carries against the Patriots. He split the majority of the carries with Singletary. Both Tracy and Singletary are getting more work with Cam Skattebo sidelined. Skattebo underwent season-ending ankle surgery in late October.
Tracy entered the game with 398 yards and a score on 3.9 yards per carry. He was especially effective as a rookie, rushing for 839 yards and five touchdowns on 4.4 yards per carry.
