Tyson Fury and Jon Jones are at the peak of their professions but one fights in boxing while the latter fights in the UFC. But that didn’t stop Fury from blasting podcast host Joe Rogan for comparing him to Jones.

On a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan said Fury couldn’t beat Jones when discussing the baddest man on the planet. This stemmed from a discussion about Francis Ngannou, the former UFC heavyweight champion who signed with PFL.

When Rogan said Jones over Fury, the heavyweight champion boxer snapped in an NSFW video.

“I heard Joe Rogan say something about me, and I’ve been off all the social medias and didn’t reply to that little p****, little f****** midget, bald-headed midget,”  Fury said “I heard him say that Jon Jones could f*** me up if we were in the room together. I don’t think so. Not a man born from a mother could f*** me up, in a room, on our own. Whatever happens in that room, I’d be walking out. Not a f****** problem.”

Strong words, from a strong man. Fury is 33-0-1 as a professional boxer and last fought in December, a TKO win over Derek Chisora in the 10th round.

Jones responded on Twitter.

“Hey Tyson, it seem like Joe may have struck a nerve,” Jones wrote on Twitter. “I’ll admit there’s no one touching you in that ring right now, but let’s not let that confuse you with what would happen if you stepped foot in my cage. If you ever want to put some of those questions you got going on to rest, give Dana (White) a call. I’ll help you out.”

Jones returned to the UFC after a three-year hiatus in his attempt to bulk up to heavyweight. He was the long-time light-heavyweight champion.

“You want to talk about who’s the baddest man on the planet? If Jon Jones and Tyson Fury are locked into a room, I’m pushing all of my chips on black,” Rogan laughed on his podcast. “Tyson Fury is an amazing boxer – he doesn’t have a f***ing chance in hell of making it out of that room. He has no chance of making it out of that room. Zero chance. [Fury] would have to catch Jon immediately with one punch, and I just don’t see that happening, man.

In his first fight at heavyweight, Jones defeated former interim champion Ciryl Gane in the first round via submission to win his second belt. Jones is considered the GOAT of MMA by many pundits.

The matchup is fascinating just from a size perspective. Fury is six-foot-nine and listed at 269 pounds while Jones weighed in at 248 pounds for his fight and is six-foot-four.

Jones is 27-1 with one no-contest, although many contest his lone loss (which was a disqualification). Many pundits claim it should be stricken from Jones’ record.

The two men are the best at the sport currently. But Jones and Fury in a fight? It is probably not something we’ll see in a cage or boxing ring.

Jones has the advantage of knowing various martial arts, other than boxing. But in pure boxing, we’ll favor Fury. If it hits the ground, Jones might piece him up.
