Goldberg possibly suffered bloodier injuries in the ring back in the day. Cause surely he got similar kicks in the head from the Rock or Bret Hart, maybe even Kevin Nash.

But Goldberg insisted that the gash he got on his bald head came from an accident this week on his ranch. He shared a couple of photos of the head cut and left a string of hashtags as hints as to what happened. Goldberg lives near Boerne, which is in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.

He captioned the photos using hash tags in a kind of steam of consciousness. We’ll try to translate. The post won. Goldberg doesn’t have time to bleed, so maybe he used super glue to close the wound. He perhaps was riding his tractor near a shooting range, where there was a mishap. Yes, he’s a clutz. And he got color (red) the hard way. But it’s basically an old-school wrestling wound. The former wrestler mentioned a jack hammer and a spear. Then he asked “who’s next.” Got all that?

We’re going to start this rumor. The Undertaker got Goldberg. After all, the Undertaker now lives outside Austin, so the one-time rivals are basically neighbors. We’re sort of kidding. But the two did get after it four years ago. Since both were in their 50s, injuries happened. And Goldberg suffered a head cut. Hmmm.

A rep for Goldberg told TMZ Sports that the wrestling legend bumped his head on the tractor while he was out doing work around the ranch. So see, there was nothing nefarious.

It’s unclear whether he’ll step back into the ring any time soon. The New York Post noted that his WWE contract expired three months ago. The man has longevity on his side. He was wrestling well into his 50s, so here’s hoping it makes it back to the pro sports world.

These days, he’s also acting. He played Lance Hamilton, a recurring character, for a final time on “NCIS: Los Angeles” back in January. Goldberg portrayed the former SEAL six times during the series run, which ended after 14 seasons this past Sunday. And coincidentally, he also played a recurring character on the comedy “The Goldbergs.” But he was a coach.

Fingers crossed, his bloody knock on the noggin won’t leave a scar. Then again, scars are like classic accessories for wrestlers.
