Little Rock (Ark.) Central three-star defensive lineman Anthony Kennedy Jr. has committed to Arkansas, according to Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett.

He chose the Razorbacks after decommitting from Miami last week. Kennedy is also a former Mizzou pledge.

Kennedy is the No. 425 overall prospect and No. 46 DL in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 4 recruit in Arkansas.

New head coach Ryan Silverfield and the new-look Hogs have now landed four in-state commitments on Monday, building on a class that has jumped 20 spots in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Kennedy had been committed to Miami since June, but the two quietly parted ways over Thanksgiving week. Arkansas became an option once more for the 6-foot-4, 200-pounder and he’s now set to stay in-state alongside a host of others.

Arkansas making big moves ahead of NSD

Monday has treated Silverfield and the SEC program well. Clearly prioritizing a late push to rally in-state recruits, Arkansas has added four of the best in the Natural State to its class in a short period of time.

Wynne Cross County four-star DL Danny Beale III headlines the new additions and was the first to jump in on Monday. The one-time Oklahoma State pledge also considered Mizzou, but he now headlines Arkansas’ class as the No. 199 overall prospect and No. 23 DL.

Not long after Bryant four-star running back TJ Hodges flipped from Mizzou and Bryant three-star linebacker Jakore Smith, a former Oklahoma commit, also locked in. Hodges is the No. 20 RB in the nation.

The updated Arkansas class, which now checks in at No. 48 in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, can be seen here.
