4-star CB Davon Benjamin will officially visit Washington this week

After successful official visits to Michigan, Texas and Oregon over the last three weeks, the four-star cornerback Davon Benjamin out of Corona (Calif.) Oaks Christian will head to Seattle this weekend for an official visit to Washington.
He has visited Washington before, and he was last there in the spring.
“Ryan Walters stepped in and changed things,” Benjamin said in a previous interview. He came over from Purdue, he runs a great scheme and I like he sees things. He is a smart coach and I like him, coach Richards and coach Mayes. They know the game, they have great football brains and they know how the game is played. Washington has really stepped things up with me.”

Benjamin’s plan has been to take his official visits and make his decision. He is aiming to make that decision before his senior season kicks off, and there is no date set yet, but he knows what he is looking for in a school.
“When I commit, and pick one school, it will be about getting to the next level. I am not worried about the NIL, because that will come regardless. The three most important things to me are development, trust and the opportunity. I have to trust the coaches to put me in the best position for the future and develop me, which will help me solidify my decision.”
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Oregon is the team to beat for the elite cornerback.
