Indiana flips prized safety target D'Montae Tims from Colorado
Seffner (Fla.) Armwood safety D’Montae Tims has flipped his commitment from Colorado to Indiana.
Tims was in Bloomington over the weekend to watch the second-ranked Hoosiers defeat Wisconsin.
Commit No. 25 for head coach Curt Cignetti and the IU staff in the 2026 cycle, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Tims becomes the second to flip to the Hoosiers this week joining offensive lineman Benjamin Novak.
Tims was always a coveted safety target for Indiana and future position coach Ola Adams and the Hoosiers never gave up on him. Now they have him in the fold.
“You can tell they’re building something,” Tims said. “What I liked most was how genuine everybody was. Indiana feels like a place where they’re investing in players on and off the field.
