PC - Pac-12 Conference

USA Sports and the Pac-12 Conference announced on Thursday morning that they’re entering a five-year joint partnership that will start in 2026-27.

USA Network will feature the new Pac-12 Conference that is set to debut next season with the additions of Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Utah State, San Diego State, Texas State, and Gonzaga in addition to Oregon State and Washington State.

The agreement will run through 2030-31, and now the Pac-12 has three media partners for distribution in USA Network, CBS/Paramount, & The CW. The USA Network will feature regular-season football matchups and regular-season men’s and women’s basketball games.

New Pac-12 on USA Network

  • 22 regular-season football games each season
  • 50 regular-season men’s basketball games each season
  • 5-10 regular-season women’s basketball games each season

USA Network will also broadcast the Pac-12 men’s basketball tournament with all games except the Pac-12 Championship game, which will air on CBS.

“The new Pac-12 is where tradition meets transformation — a unique opportunity in the rapidly-evolving college sports landscape that strongly aligns with the go-forward vision of USA Sports,” said Pac-12 Commissioner Teresa Gould. “We are thrilled to launch this partnership with the USA Sports team and leverage our shared vision to build something unique and special.”

“USA Sports is proud to partner with the new Pac-12 and showcase the league to a national audience on USA Network,” said Matt Hong, President of USA Sports. “Our partnership further establishes USA Network as a destination for all sports fans, with weekends packed with Pac-12 football doubleheaders and men’s and women’s basketball double- and triple-headers beginning next fall.”

As a result of the news, Pac-12 football will have its regular-season home games broadcast on CBS, The CW, CBS Sports Network, and USA Network, in addition to the Pac-12 Football Championship Game on CBS.

In addition, the new Pac-12 will see the overwhelming majority of its regular season home men’s basketball games broadcast across CBS, The CW, CBS Sports Network and USA Network, with the tournament games airing on USA Network up to the championship game on CBS.

New Pac-12’s Broadcast Highlights

  • Football’s maximum reach & national exposure – The new Pac-12 will see the entirety of its football slate, its home game broadcasts, available either to 100% of U.S. television households via national over-the-air broadcast networks (CBS & The CW) or via cable, satellite or over-the-top streaming on national cable networks (CBS Sports Network & USA Network).
  • Men’s Basketball – Similarly for men’s basketball the league will see the overwhelming majority (over 70 percent) of its regular season home games broadcast across the same networks (CBS, The CW, CBS Sports Network and USA Network). In addition, the league’s men’s basketball tournament will be featured on USA Network leading up to the championship game on CBS.
  • Women’s Basketball – The new Pac-12 will see women’s basketball featured across The CW (15 regular season games) and USA Network (5-10 regular season games) as well as its semifinals and championship game of the league’s tournament on The CW.
