The Atlantic Coast Conference announced its 2025 All-ACC teams on Tuesday morning, a list that included just one Cardinal on the first team, but 11 other Louisville players were recognized.

Senior wide receiver Chris Bell is one of three wide receivers to be named first team All-ACC after catching 72 passes for 917 yards and six touchdowns in 11 games before an injury sidelined him for the rest of the season. Bell recorded three 100-yard receiving games, including a career-high 12 receptions for 170 yards and two scores against Virginia and 10 catches for 135 yards and one score against Pittsburgh. The 6-foot-2, 225-pound pass catcher will undergo surgery before preparing for the NFL Draft.

On the second team, Cardinals defensive tackle Rene Konga represented Louisville. The Ottawa, Ontario, native recorded a career-high 29 tackles and registered 5.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks this season. Konga also led the team with six pass breakups.

Five Louisville players were named third-team All-ACC, including slot receiver Caullin Lacy as an all-purpose player and sophomore running back Isaac Brown. The 2024 ACC Rookie of the Year has been out with a hamstring since Nov. 1 at Virginia Tech and rushed for 782 yards and five touchdowns while averaging 8.6 yards per carry on the season. Brown totaled five 100-yard rushing games.

Cooper Ranvier‘s season was dented by his performance against Clemson, but going 21-of-24 on field-goal attempts and tying the school record for field goals made in a season was good enough for third team. On the defensive side of the ball, TJ Quinn and Clev Lubin also made the league’s third team. Quinn led the team in tackles for the third-straight season after recording 87, and after transferring in from Coastal Carolina, Lubin’s 7.0 sacks were the most on the roster.

Being listed as an honorable mention, Lacy made the cut as a wide receiver as well as senior linemen Pete Nygra and Lance Robinson. Cornerback Tayon Holloway and LB/S hybrid Antiono Watts were also mentioned.

Watts missed the regular season finale against UK after having surgery, a game in which Holloway had two interceptions, the first of his career.

From the ACC: “Selections were determined by an 82-member voting panel made up of 65 media voters and all 17 ACC head coaches. Ballots were weighted by a 3-2-1 scoring system for first-, second-, and third-team votes, respectively…The conference’s major individual awards — Player of the Year, Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Offensive and Defensive Rookies of the Year — will be revealed on Wednesday, December 3. The Coach of the Year will be announced on Thursday, December 4.”
