There has to be a third. There are three of every position in college football. Each team has a third quarterback, a third kicker, a third left tackle, a third starting cornerback, and, unfortunately for some, a third running back. Louisville's Keyjuan Brown has been third for the last three years. He sat behind Isaac Guerendo and Jawhar Jordan, two backs who are currently on NFL rosters, as a true freshman. Then, he got jumped in the backfield by the electrifying duo of Isaac Brown and Duke Watson for the past season and a half. But just because you're third on the depth chart doesn't mean you're worthy of it.
