Blue Devils have pair of key players listed as questionable

Duke has two key contributors listed as questionable to play in Saturday’s game against Wake Forest.

Wide receiver Andrel Anthony and cornerback Landan Callahan carry that designation into Saturday’s regular-season finale.

Anthony has 26 catches for 246 yards and five touchdowns this season. He also missed last weekend’s game against UNC, in which Duke had a season-low 175 passing yards.

Callahan has only started four games this season but he’s played the 10th-most snaps of any Duke defender. He’s a redshirt freshman who’s from Winston-Salem.

Otherwise, the only Blue Devils on the availability report aren’t surprises. Terry Moore will officially miss the entire regular season after his torn ACL in the Gator Bowl last year. Running back Peyton Jones is listed as out; he hasn’t played since the first month of the season and appears to be redshirting.

On the Wake Forest side of things …

Wake Forest could be without the defensive end who’s had one sack in each of the last four games.

Nuer Gatkuoth is listed as questionable on the availability report for Saturday’s game at Duke. Gatkuoth was listed as such in both the initial availability report Thursday night and in the Friday night update.

The transfer from Colorado State is second for the Deacons with six sacks, trailing Langston Hardy’s 6½. That production has all come in Wake’s last seven games, though. Gatkuoth had sacks against Virginia Tech and Oregon State, did not have one against SMU, and then has had one in four straight games going into Saturday’s regular-season finale.

The only other Deacon carrying any injury status other than “out” is reserve defensive tackle Ka’Shawn Thomas. He’s listed as probable.
