The Minnesota Golden Gophers will play their final game of the regular season on Saturday afternoon when they host the Wisconsin Badgers at Huntington Bank Stadium. The Gophers enter the game 6-5, including 4-4 in conference play, losing each of their last two games and three of their last four.
Wisconsin enters the matchup with a 4-6 record but has won two of its last three games over Washington and Illinois.
” I think it’s great to be back at Huntington Bank Stadium,” Gophers coach P.J. Fleck said earlier this week. “This is one of the greatest rivalries in all of college football. We’re all just honored to be a small part of it and get an opportunity to be 1–0 against Wisconsin.”
“I know they’ve got a great fan base, and they’re going to be fired up for the game,” he continued. “We’ve got a great fan base. We’ll be fired up for the game. It’s one of the best rivalries in all of college football. But having it back here is going to be great. It’ll be good to be back home. But we’ve got to find a way, no matter where we play, to play our best football.”
