The Arkansas athletic administration has added a new page onto its website to highlight the front office.

Arkansas ended its relationship with Blueprint Sports to manage its NIL efforts back in October, and it appears this is how the athletic program will handle its NIL efforts moving forward. The website shows three employees so far:

  • Remy Cofield — General Manager
  • Sydney Lemmerhirt — Associate Director of Player Relations
  • Davonte Higginbottom — Director of NIL Strategy

The website isn’t fully fleshed out yet, but a source told HawgBeat it’s a “work in progress.” Both Lemmerhirt and Cofield are names familiar to the program. Cofield was named general manager in March, and Lemmerhirt was an Arkansas gymnast from 2015-19 and has worked for the university since 2021.

The one name that’s new to Arkansas is Higginbottom. His bio on the Arkansas website says he played basketball at Massachusetts from 2016-20, and his most recent work experience is in the marketing and NIL department of Klutch Sports Group, which has represented several Arkansas athletes in recent years, like Moses Moody and Nick Smith Jr., to name a few.

The Arkansas Front Office website says it is the “strategic arm of the University of Arkansas Athletic Department that manages the business and operational aspects of modern college athletics.” It will oversee NIL, marketing and revenue sharing, as well as recruiting strategy and roster management.

Back in June, Cofield met with the media for the first time and said he was working on finding staff members to fill the front office. It’s been a while since that time, but it appears things are moving in the right direction.
