FAYETTEVILLE — Junior forward Trevon Brazile sat out of the No. 21 Arkansas Razorbacks 93-56 win over the Central Arkansas Bears at Bud Walton Arena on Tuesday due to back spasms.

Second year head coach John Calipari was asked if the fourth-year Hog would be available for the next game in three days, but Brazile’s status is still up in the air.

“I don’t know yet,” Calipari said with uncertainty. “I don’t know.”

Brazile logged 25 points and 11 rebounds in Arkansas’ season opener, then finished with just three points in 15 minutes played in Saturday’s loss at Michigan State while also committing four personal fouls.

The Hogs (2-1) are back at Bud Walton Arena on Friday against Samford (1-1) for the second of a four-game homestand with tipoff set for 7 p.m. CT and the game will stream on SEC Network-plus.
