No. 25 Kansas returns home to face Texas A&M - CC

No. 25 Kansas (1-1) will play host to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (1-2) on Tuesday, Nov. 11. The contest will tip from historic Allen Fieldhouse at 7 p.m. (Central) and be broadcast on ESPN+.
Kansas holds a 1-0 all-time series edge on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, with the lone meeting a KU 82-41 win on Nov. 23, 2010, in Allen Fieldhouse.
Kansas is coming off an 87-74 loss at No. 25 North Carolina on Nov. 7. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is looking to end a two-game losing streak after its 85-77 loss at Tarleton State on Nov. 8.
Kansas has won 21-straight non-conference games at Allen Fieldhouse, beginning on Nov. 7, 2022. Additionally, Kansas is 160-6 (96.4%) against non-conference opponents inside Allen Fieldhouse under head coach Bill Self.
Through two games, Kansas is averaging 84.0 points per game and has a plus-15.0 scoring margin. The Jayhawks pull down 35.5 rebounds per contest with a plus-3.0 rebound margin. KU averages 17.0 assists and 6.0 steals per contest. KU’s 2.00 assist-to-turnover ratio ranks second in the Big 12 and 36th nationally.

Sophomore center Flory Bidunga is next in scoring at 15.5 points per game, which includes a career-high 23 points in the season opener versus Green Bay (11/3). Bidunga leads KU with a 6.5 rebounds per game average and three blocked shots. Senior guard Tre White and redshirt freshman forward Bryson Tiller are averaging 9.5 points per contest.
White has two steals on the season, while Tiller made four of his five threes at North Carolina (11/7) in scoring a season high 12 points. Tiller’s 83.3 three-point percentage ranks third nationally and second in the Big 12. Senior guard Melvin Council Jr. is averaging 8.0 points per game and he leads KU with 11 assists, while freshman guard Kohl Rosario (6.5 ppg) has started both games this season.
Other KU regulars include senior guard Jayden Dawson (4.0 ppg, two threes), redshirt-sophomore guard Elmark Jackson (3.0 ppg), and redshirt-sophomore guard Jamari McDowell (1.5 ppg).
