Brody Jennings flips commitment from Michigan to Miami

Michigan football lost its longest-lasting verbal commit in the recruiting class of 2026 on Saturday afternoon. Three-star defensive back Brody Jennings announced he is flipping his commitment from Michigan to Miami.
Jennings, a Jacksonville, Florida, native, is a four-star recruit in the class of 2026. He had been committed to Sherrone Moore and the Wolverines for nearly a year (July 28, 2024). At 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, Jennings offers solid size and a good frame at cornerback.
Jennings’ decommitment comes at, presumably, the tail end of a red hot stretch of recruiting for Moore and Michigan. The Wolverines landed nine recruits throughout the last week of June and in the early parts of July.
Michigan’s 2026 recruiting class is now down to 20 commits, making it good for ninth in the country.
