Faith Christian's Lauren Harris sees Stock Rise

Faith Christian won the SJS and NorCal Division VI titles this past season led by 2026 wing Lauren Harris (No. 11 in the 2026 rankings), who averaged nearly 30 points per game with 14 rebounds, six assists, two steals and almost two blocks in earning All-NorCal honors.
When asked what this rise over the last six months has been like, Harris noted, “I just love basketball so much and I’ve worked a lot at it.”
Lauren Harris Scouting Report
The scoring takes the headlines, but it is her decision making and playmaking that have raised her stock.
“Her IQ. Her passing,” NorCal Dynasty director Tom Tran said on what has stood out for Harris outside of her scoring. “I’ve talked to college coaches and they are shocked how good of a passer she is. Decision making and can handle the ball.”
However, it is scoring that has generated the buzz especially after she nearly averaged 40 points at the CaliLive showcase.
I think she’s one of the best shooters in the state. This spring, we have emphasized that everyone knows you can shoot and do other things. Hit the mid range shot and attack the basket,” Tran said. “Her decision making and IQ is what is going to separate her. Her willingness to pass and get teammates involved is what excites her.”
Harris Adds Offers this Spring
UC Riverside, William Jessup, Cal Baptist, UC San Diego, Nevada, Marshall and UC Davis have offered Harris since the end of the high school season
She has visited Eastern Washington, Long Beach State and UC Davis in the past month with upcoming trips planned to Nevada and UC San Diego.
“It’s definitley overwhleming right now, but the visits are helping a lot,” said Harris, who is looking for a program that has supportive players who want to get better and win.
Harris, NorCal Dynasty Hit the Road
Following a local event at the Simply Tune-Up, NorCal Dynasty will be at the Nike TOC in Las Vegas (July 11-14) and the Nike TOC in Chicago (July 18-21).
“We’ve challenged them with a schedule and showing them that these girls at these small schools don’t have inflated numbers and pushing them.”
Faith Christian moves up to D5 next season
After winning the SJS and NorCal Division VI titles last year, Faith Christian is headed to Division V with a shot to play for a state title.
“It’s great because I’ve known these girls since I was five,” Harris said. “We are sisters basically. Everyone is bought into playing their role and going for the state title.”
