PITTSBURGH — Pitt has now beaten Ohio State on buzzer-beater threes in back-to-back seasons after Damarco Minor played hero at the Petersen Events Center in Friday night’s 67-66 win.

After the Buckeyes went up by two on a third-chance opportunity with just 3.7 seconds left, Minor caught the ball going towards the inbound player, turned up the court and pulled up from just beyond half court to hit the game-winner.

Minor’s buzzer beater marked the second-straight season that the Panthers defeated the Buckeyes on a last second three-pointer.

Pitt head coach Jeff Capel, along with Minor and Barry Dunning Jr. spoke to the media following the game and talked about the game-winning shot, what allowed them to be in position to win it and what a win like this could do for the Panthers moving forward.
