Pitt Officially Signs Four-Star Duo out of IMG Academy

The Pitt men’s basketball class of 2026 started to take shape in October with a talented IMG Academy duo, who have now put pen to paper and officially signed with the Panthers.
Wednesday marked the first day of the early National Signing Period for college basketball as prep teammates Chase Foster and Jermal Jones Jr. signed with the Panthers.
Jones became the Panthers first pledge in the 2026 class back on Oct. 10 as he picked Pitt over other offers from Florida State, California, Purdue, Cincinnati, Mississippi State, Clemson and Washington.
A 6-3 shooting guard, Jones holds a four-star rating and is the 74th-ranked prospect in the class and 20th shooting guard in the cycle, according to Rivals.
Over the summer, Jones starred at the Jet Academy in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL), averaging 11.3 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
Foster — a four-star prospect and the fifth-ranked power forward in the class — committed to Pitt back on Oct. 15. The 32nd-ranked overall player, according to the Rivals Industry ranking, selected the Panthers over other finalists in Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Villanova.
Originally from Baltimore, Md., the 6-foot-9 Foster played with Team Melo this summer on Nike’s EYBL Circuit, where he averaged 15.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.8 STOCKS (steals + blocks) per game.
Pitt awaits 6-5 four-star shooting guard Anthony Felesi to officially sign with the Panthers. The early Early Signing Period runs from Nov. 12-19. The regular period’s initial date is April 15, 2026.
As it stands now, Pitt owns the No. 10 recruiting class in the 2026 Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
