Texas Tech to rematch BYU in Big 12 Football Championship Game
By virtue of Arizona State losing to Arizona on Friday night, Texas Tech has clinched its spot in the Big 12 Football Championship Game.
The Red Raiders will take on the BYU Cougars in a rematch of Texas Tech’s 29-7 win earlier this month.
Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT on December 6th, 2025 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and the game will be shown on ABC.
Before that game though Texas Tech still business to handle as the Red Raiders will play West Virginia in Morgantown on Saturday, November 29th. That game is also set for 11 a.m. CT and will be broadcast on ESPN.
BYU will likewise host the UCF Knights at 12 p.m. CT on Saturday, November 29th to close out their regular season.
Texas Tech currently sits at #5 in the College Football Playoff rankings and the Red Raiders could have an opportunity to move up into a coveted top four spot, and a first round bye, should they finish the season strong.
