UConn Football DB Kolubah Pewee Jr. set to enter Transfer Portal
UConn Football has taken another Transfer Portal hit ahead of the upcoming offseason, as defensive back Kolubah Pewee Jr. has joined the fray and will enter the portal after one season with the Huskies, sources tell the UConn Report.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound cornerback hails from Tottenville, New York and played for Tottenville High School before spending a season at the U.S. Military Academy Prep and signed with Maine as a member of the 2021 class.

After one year at Maine, Pewee Jr. transferred to Georgetown where he spent the 2021-23 seasons. During that time, he racked up 51 total tackles (38 solo), 12 PBUs, and two interceptions.
The New York native arrived at UConn this offseason, committing to the program back in December 2024. However he didn’t appear in a single game this season after suffering an injury early on in the season and will likely qualify for a medical redshirt.
Pewee Jr. will have one year of eligibility remaining to play elsewhere.
