Alabama Basketball: Transfer portal tracker
The Alabama basketball team is getting a significant roster overhaul this offseason. Whether it’s by way of the transfer portal or the upcoming NBA draft, at least eight of the 13 scholarship players from the Crimson Tide program will not be back to help the 2022-23 squad push for another SEC Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance.
Jaden Shackelford, Keon Ellis and JD Davison are all heading to the NBA.
Meanwhile, five different Alabama players have entered the transfer portal with four of them already finding a new school to represent. Below, we bring you all a Crimson Tide transfer tracker. That way, you can keep up with all the latest losses and additions.
Keep in mind that coach Nate Oats and the rest of the Alabama program aren’t done with the transfer portal.
There are still scholarships available, even with one transfer, one JUCO addition and four high school stars already included in the 2022 signing class. Be sure to check back in periodically to see updates as we continue to work our way through the summer months.
