After dropping from No. 1 to No. 2 last week, Alabama was able to hold on to its current position when the latest AP Poll came out on Sunday. The Crimson Tide were 49.5-point favorites over Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday, but they still managed to cover with a final score of 63-7.

Really, there wasn’t any movement in the top 7, but Kentucky did manage to jump Oklahoma State for that No. 8 spot. Once again, the SEC had eight teams land in the top 25, five of which are amongst the top-11 teams. That’s a really strong resume for the conference.

Alabama has already played a top-25 team in No. 22 Texas. That said, there are still four more top-25 teams left on the regular season schedule. Those four include No. 10 Arkansas, No. 11 Tennessee, No. 16 Ole Miss and No. 23 Texas A&M. Three of those games are on the road.

Below, you’ll find the entire updated AP Poll after Week 3.
