Nick Saban’s Mood
Much better. Hopefully, the dudes have gotten the message. In retrospect, Mercer was a true sandwich game. If you are a competitor, you are well aware of what Florida means. It’s the Swamp. Let’s get it.
Quarterback Room
The portal and free agency have changed everything. What is the number of QBs you can have that make you feel comfortable? My advice is to focus on who and not how many. Alabama has three today. That’s not enough. Ty Simpson would make four this Spring (which is a nice number) but… are Paul and Jalen both sticking around? If the answer is Yes (we believe so) then the numbers are fine. You can plan to sign one in 2023, hopefully, Arch Manning.
Player’s Health
Both starting cornerbacks, Josh Jobe and Jalyn Armour-Davis, as well as Will Anderson, all seem like a go for Saturday. You can breathe again.
Jaheim Oatis
This Tide ‘22 commit had 5 TFL’s last week. Goodness. And at 6-foot-4, 370 pounds, he won’t show up needing to add size. In fact, he might need to downsize a little bit.
Bama Women’s Golf
Finishing fourth in that tournament in Minnesota! Wow. Loaded field, too. I think our gals are gonna be real contenders all year.
