The Alabama football team got far and away its toughest test so far this season on Saturday. A road trip to Gainesville against a top-10 Florida team is never going to be easy, and the Gators made sure of it.

With it being the first major full-capacity home game for Florida since the COVID-19 pandemic began back in early 2020, the crowd was absolutely electric. Sure, things quietened down when Alabama got up 21-3 in the first quarterback, but the energy came roaring back as the Gators did.

The end result was a narrow 31-29 victory for Alabama. It took a missed extra point and failed two-point conversion to prevent overtime, and now the Crimson Tide are 3-0 heading into Week Four.
