Where Alabama basketball is ranked in AP Poll after wins over Clemson, UTSA
Alabama basketball went 2-0 this past week, both wins coming in Coleman Coliseum. The Crimson Tide beat Clemson 90-84 on Wednesday in the ACC/SEC Challenge, and followed it up with a 97-55 win over UTSA on Sunday afternoon.
In Monday’s updated AP Poll, Alabama stayed put at No. 12, exactly where it was last week.
The Crimson Tide remained the highest-ranked of six SEC teams this week, coming in ahead of No. 15 Vanderbilt, No. 17 Arkansas, No. 18 Florida, No. 20 Tennessee and No. 21 Auburn.
Alabama has just one game this week, and it’s a big one. Newly-minted No. 1 Arizona will travel to Birmingham on Saturday night to take on the Tide in the annual C.M. Newton Classic at Legacy Arena. Tipoff is set for 8:30 p.m. CT and will air on ESPN.
