Following Michigan’s win in the national championship on Monday night, the AP Poll released its final rankings of the 2025-26 season. Alabama came in at No. 16, two spots up from its pre-tournament ranking.

It marks the fourth consecutive year and fifth time in the last six years that Alabama has been in the final ranking of the season. The Crimson Tide finished with a 25-10 overall record, including a 13-5 mark in the SEC and the 2-seed in the SEC Tournament. Alabama received the 4-seed in the Midwest Region of the NCAA Tournament, making the Sweet 16 for the fourth straight year before falling to the eventual national champion Wolverines.

The SEC finished with six ranked teams, with Alabama coming behind No. 9 Florida, No. 12 Tennessee and No. 13 Arkansas while ahead of No. 19 Vanderbilt and No. 22 Texas.

Nate Oats and his staff now turn their attention to roster construction during the offseason in preparation for the 2026-27 season.
