AUBURN -- As former Auburn players, assistants Carnell Williams and Zac Etheridge certainly know what it's like to win big games inside Jordan-Hare Stadium. They've lost some tough ones, too, but nothing quite compares to what happened on Saturday. "Very tough one. Very disappointing," Williams said. "We, and I say we as coaches, we need to take this one on the chin. I know it starts with Coach Freeze, but us coaches, we did not do a good enough job of getting these guys prepared and getting these guys going. Collectively, this totally on us. Our kids weren't ready to play at all." Etheridge echoed those sentiments, saying, "we were very lethargic in our approach thinking this team was going to come down here and lay it down because we're a SEC football team. Any time you put the helmet on, you have to play to the standard of Auburn football and we didn't. I apologize to the Auburn family for that because we didn't play to the standard of what Auburn football is all about." More from Williams and Etheridge inside...
