Vysen Lang, a 6-foot-4 330-pound OL from Pike Road, Ala., has included Auburn in his top schools. Lang lives less than an hour down the road and took full advantage of that over the spring practice circuit.

““Man, well when you have a great University like Auburn in your back yard, its hard to not come here whenever you can.” Lang said. “The family and everything they love Auburn. So, its like why wouldn’t I want to come back to Auburn?”

The big OL prospect took visits all over during the spring practice period, but Auburn probably saw him the most. The need at OL and the proximity to home appear to be big factors in his recruitment.

Lang’s top schools

Auburn is sure to be one of the schools at the top of his top-10. Others that made the cut include Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.

As of today, Auburn is the leader in the Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). The Tigers currently lead with a percentage of 38.1%. The multiple visits certainly propelled Auburn to the top. They take over the number one spot in the RPM from Ole Miss who now drops to a 17.1% chance of landing him. Florida is close behind with a percentage of 14.6%. LSU is in the game as well with 6.4%.

The RPM is mainly factoring visits for the time being as there have been no expert predictions logged yet for Lang. He does not seem to be in a major hurry to commit to a school, so narrowing down to ten schools feels appropriate for where he is in his recruitment.
