Auburn Tigers Target Tracker: Oct. 4 edition

It’s always fun to follow the future by keeping tabs on the success of Auburn football commitments in the fall. But this season, we’re also tracking key Tiger targets. Each week, we’ll highlight some performances of offered prospects, flip targets and other recruits of note.

Here are this week’s notable performances …

*2023 Edge Rueben Bain, Miami (Fla.) Central: In a 41-0 win over North Miami Beach (Fla.), Bain recorded five tackles and a sack per MaxPreps. That gives him 16 tackles and five sacks in three games. Bain said via Twitter he actually has 8.5 sacks this season. He visited Auburn last weekend.

*2023 CB Edwin Joseph, Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep: Chaminade-Madonna plays Tuesday night. At last check, Joseph had 22 catches for 368 yards to go along with 12 tackles, 3 pass breakups and 1 interception this season.

*2023 TE Jelani Thurman, Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes: In a 40-17 win over Douglasville (Ga.) Alexander, Thurman had three catches for 41 yards. That gives him 11 receptions for 172 yards and four touchdowns on the season.

*2023 RB Roderick Robinson II, San Diego (Calif.) Lincoln: Although it’s now uncertain if Robinson will visit Auburn again we’re still tracking him. Last week, Lincoln beat Cathedral Catholic (Calif.) 31-17 and Robinson, who is committed to UCLA, rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries. He now has 1,501 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns on 21 carries in seven games.

*2024 WR Cameron Coleman, Phenix City (Ala.) Central: The touted junior, who claims an Auburn offer, had three catches for 113 yards and one touchdown in a win over Dothan (Ala.). That gives him 18 receptions for 357 yards and five touchdowns this season.

*2024 DB Jayden Coleman, Phenix City (Ala.) Central: Coleman, who claims a Tigers offer, had three tackles and .5 tackle for loss against Dothan (Ala.). That gives him eight total tackles and one pass broken up this season.

*2024 QB Air Noland, Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes: In a 40-17 win over Douglasville (Ga.) Alexander, Noland was 16-of-24 passing for 239 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. For the season, he is 76 of 113 for 1,481 yards, 22 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.

*2024 RB J’Marion Burnette, Andalusia (Ala.): In a 69-19 win over Geneva (Ala.), Burnette rushed for 98 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries. That gives him 781 rushing yards this season.
