Social Slant: Twitter reacts to the hiring of Hugh Freeze at Auburn
Hugh Freeze is in as Auburn’s new football coach.
And the Tigers’ choice of the former Liberty and Ole Miss coach had social media buzzing Monday. Here’s a sampling of the good, the bad and the ugly from Twitter after the news broke that Freeze was on his way to the Plains.
There will be a lot of talk about Hugh Freeze’s missteps at Ole Miss, but everyone has a past. He’s coached in the SEC, recruited in the SEC and won in the SEC. He’s also beaten Nick Saban in back-to-back seasons. In other words, he checks a lot of boxes for @AuburnFootball.
